Experience a 20 minute hands-on helicopter flying lesson in a Robinson R22 helicopter. Try your hand at a series of low level exercises including hovering 30ft from the ground. Helicopter lessons are a great introduction to these amazing flying machines. |
What Your Experience Includes
Helicopter Lessons (20 mins):
Your helicopter lesson begins with a briefing on the effects of the controls and how a helicopter flies. Once the instructor has you safely in the air you will then be allowed to take the controls and actually fly the aircraft in the area of your chosen location. Back at the airfield you will test your flying skills with some low level flying and hovering. A trial lesson will give you an insight into the thrill of helicopter flight and you will receive a certificate signed by your instructor.

How long does it last ?
The duration of this experience is approximately 40 minutes including briefings and tea/coffee. Airborne time is 20 minutes.

Height Restriction 6'6'
Weight Restriction 17 stone.
Minimum age: 12 years
Also excluded are sufferers of epilepsy, haemophilia or any illness or disability that might make it unsafe to fly a helicopter.

As aviation requires good weather conditions, flights are subject to cancellation at short notice.
