This is the perfect way to experience the thrill and rush of flying a real helicopter. The away day package includes an in depth briefing on flying and becoming a qualified pilot, it is highly recommended for anyone seriously considering obtaining their Private Pilots Licence as it includes two hours of flying, split into two or three flights.

Restrictions
Maximum weight 17 stone. There are no age restrictions however the minimum height is 5 foot.

On purchasing this experience you will be sent an open dated gift voucher with 9 months validity.
Lessons usually take place in a Robinson R22 Beta Helicopter. All training helicopters have dual controls so the instructor can safely demonstrate and monitor the handling of the aircraft.
The 'Away Day' package includes: Pre and post flight ground briefings Two hours of flying, split into two or three flights. Commemorative Certificate. Lunch is not provided so you will need to bring your own..
Please note that there will be a £75 surcharge when flying from Carlisle and Newcastle airports. This will be charged when redeeming the voucher.
